The Corinthian is a nondescript, smaller community in the Courthouse neighborhood. Built in 1974 and containing just 35 residences, it oftentimes gets overshadowed by the larger communities in the area like Woodbury Heights or The Astoria.

There are not very many amenities to speak of at The Corinthian. The condominium features a community room and that’s about it. The lobby is currently under renovation so once that is finished up, the entrance will have a nice, modern ambiance.

Floor plans at The Corinthian are going to be adequate. A lot of times buildings from this era will generally have larger floor plans than new buildings; The Corinthian is no exception.

One bedrooms layouts are going to be around 750 square feet. They are going to be similar to Cardinal House where you have a large living room, with a dining room section, kind of like an L shaped, and the kitchen that is going to be facing the dining room.

Only a third of the units are one-bedrooms while two thirds of the condos at The Corinthian are two-bedroom layouts. All two bedrooms will be above 1,1100 square feet and all layouts will have two bathrooms. The layouts make excellent use of the space. With a building of this age, the interiors are going to range significantly in quality depending on when they were last updated.

A few other notes are that washer and dryers are in-unit. Around the mid 70’s is when you started to see the change from common laundry rooms to washer and dryers in-unit so that is great to have. Another thing to point out is that there is a G-ground floor and because the building is on a hill, the units on the 1st floor will actually feel like they are on the 2nd floor. So don’t go ruling out these 1st floor units before you even see them. In addition, all condos will come with an outdoor space, be it a balcony or a patio for those two units on the G-level.

One of the biggest advantages to living at The Corinthian are the low condo fees. Two-bedroom condo fees are currently under $400 per month and one-bedroom condo fees are under $300 a month. That my friends is a steal. Sales prices are either similar to, or lower than competition Courthouse condos so you will end up getting more condo for your money at The Corinthian.

The downsides of living in the community are that there are basically no amenities, there is no garage parking (some covered spots), and there are no pets allowed (this could be a benefit depending on your preference). Also, the hallways could use some updating as they are on the older side.

The Corinthian is perfect for those who want to be in a great location, but do not put much emphasis on amenities, pets, or a modern exterior look.
