UPDATE 8/24: According to a source, the tiki bar has not actually been built yet. The photos in the listing are apparently from tiki bars in other locations.
Arlington group homes have been around for a long time. It’s almost like a right of passage for renters in Arlington. Many renters start at a group home and then move to an apartment with a roommate, followed by renting a condo once they’ve realized all the advantages of living in a condo versus living in an apartment.
We are now seeing those apartments and condos in Arlington start to cater to millennials by providing new age amenities. In Clarendon, The Hyde features a dog washing station for residents. And in Virginia Square, the new Latitude apartments will feature garage parking with electric and hybrid charging stations.
Well now an Arlington group home is getting in on the amenities geared toward ‘the Arlington renter’.
The home for rent at 3408 N Pershing Drive comes with its very own backyard tiki bar. Yep, that’s right. No longer will you have to get your tiki bar fix by standing boat shoe-to-boat shoe at Whitlow’s rooftop on Thursday evenings.
The tiki bar is located in the fenced-in backyard of the home. It is adjacent to the driveway that can easily fit four cars and this part of the Ashton Heights neighborhood does not have zoned parking so finding a place for all your friends to park will probably not be a problem (much to the chagrin of your new neighbors).
The 4 bedroom, 3 bath house was purchased recently for $779,900, then renovated, and is now on the rental market for $4,500.
