It’s been almost three years since the Caps’ Alex Ovechkin moved from just a few minutes away from the Caps’ practice facility at Kettler to his much more secluded residence in McLean. But he has held on to his property on 16th Street in the Waycroft-Woodlawn neighborhood of Arlington and continues to rent it out (for a pretty penny).
The 4-bedroom Colonial (shocker: a Colonial in Arlington) features 5,000 square feet of living space, a gourmet kitchen with top-notch appliances, a spacious master bedroom, a master bath featuring a whirlpool tub and separate shower, a rec room downstairs with a wet bar, and more. The house is currently on the market for $6,500. No word on whether real estate agents will begin to criticize the house if it is still on the market next week.
UPDATE 3/24: According to CSN Washington, newly-acquired Curtis Glencross has moved in to Ovechkin’s rental house.
